The 13-year-old St. Louis Park actress spent two days in late September acting out her small role in the film set in her hometown but shot in locations throughout the Twin Cities. Piper worked at a set at the former school in Bloomington for her small role in a scene at a Hebrew school for “A Serious Man” directed by fellow St. Louis Park natives Joel and Ethan Coen.
