I first noticed an HDR image early this year and became fascinated with this style instantly. I started experimenting with Photomatix and have been having a ball ever since.
The idea is to promote this method of making images and showcase some beautiful HDR artwork.
My images can be found here and I have arranged my HDR’s into this set.”

BTW… I used to live in Montgomery, AL (some time ago, at this point…) but dang if I remember Biscuits Stadium… of course, it’s entirely possible, in fact likely, that it was built and / or renamed - several times since I was there…. Looks as if a minor league baseball team, the Montgomery Biscuits, are the current tenants. Kewl name, huh? 
Look on their homepage - I like their logo and mascot - that couldn’t have been any small feat making a biscuit a believable mascot! On that note, have you ever been to Lambert’s Cafe - Home of the Throwed Rolls, in Foley, AL? I kid you not they throw bread at you. …but maybe you have to be a southerner to find the humor in any of this?

Jo VanHove has advised me of his plans to attend and participate in this year’s Cgi Conference for Advertising and Marketing Professionals at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, CA March 10th and 11th, 2008 on behalf of Q-spheres. (more about Q-spheres here)
The CgAM Conference looks very exciting, if for no other reason than the scheduled speaking appearance of Mr. Paul Debevic, Associate Director, Graphics Research Professor, Univ. of Southern California, (more) however, many other events scheduled and people scheduled to speak or likely to be present at the conference promise to make CgAM an interesting and productive investment of time.
All of us involved in the Q-spheres project will be eagerly awaiting Jo’s reports from the upcoming CgAM Conference!

In November / December 2007, I travelled to the Lake Mead, NV area to meet with, along with the rest of Team Q-spheres USA, Jo VanHove and Frans VanDenBemd for an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with and use the Q-spheres digital capture system. During the course of the trip, not only did the American contingent of Team Q-spheres come away with a thorough training in Q-spheres technology and practices, the results of the actual Q-spheres sessions have provided us all with the valuable assets of beautiful lightspheres and backgrounds of the Nevada desert.
