Those bodies are behind the construction of a huge complex dubbed “Hallyu-wood,” (hallyu being the term used for “Korean wave” of entertainment) while joining venture capital funds to raise coin for films. Their programs range from the small — renting expensive software to small CG and game production companies — to the large — the Gyeonggi Location Incentive offers cash; this year two films have nabbed $50,000 each.
