“After 100 years of poodles and terriers as the Westminster Kennel Club’s winners, a beagle named Uno belonging to Aaron Wilkerson took this year’s first place at the world’s most famous canine show. The 132nd Westminster show took place Tuesday at Madison Square Garden where more than 2,697 dogs gathered to battle for the glory.”
The only thing I dont dig about Beagles is when I lived way out in the country (in another “life”), the neighbors, who lived closer than you might think people live next to each other in the country, had a pen full of ‘em - they’s huntin’ dawgs- and if a leaf so much as fell at any hour of the day or night, the whole pack lit into, “ohrewrghhhhh! ohrewrghhhhh! till they either got bored or their owner stuck his head out the house trailer door and yelled at them to, “shuddup!”. Never failed to kill the country idyll…
…but Beagles are kewl…
