Freelancers Union invited us to share our thoughts and experiences as part of the rising tide of solo individuals who have greater value than ever to working America, but also greater vulnerability in economic downturns, in the form of unaffordable or limiting medical insurance, no unemployment benefits or emergency funds, tax liabilities, and other big and pertinent issues.
